Like a spider spinning a web, each and every thread intertwine with each other and are woven together as one, The Dan.
Our nameplate symbolizes prosperity and shows how The Dan brings every meaningful encounter and connection together as one large network.
With The Dan as the centerpiece, we will continue to expand the beauty and grace of the hanbok in diverse and stylish ways.
"The Dan... For Your Special Day"

The Dan Story

The Baobab Tree

The "T" of our logo, The Dan, resembles the Baobab Tree, also known as the "Tree of Life" - with good reason.

As one of the largest plants in human history, the leaves, fruits, seeds, and barks have several uses, and it can provide shelter, clothing, food, and water for both animals and humans.

It is one of the sturdiest of trees and can live for as long as 2000-3000 years. During the rainy season, the tree absorbs and stores hundreds of liters of water in its vast trunk, enabling it to produce nutrient-dense fruit in the dry season, when all around is dry and arid.

The Baobab is a symbol of strength, longevity, power, grace, and presence! Just like the Baobab Tree, Hanbok The Dan's mission is to become that of a life-giver and a sustainer in the midst of the "drought" that the Hanbok industry finds itself in today.

We at Hanbok The Dan look forward to growing bigger and taller with your support and love. We will strive to enhance and sustain the beautiful status of Korean Hanboks, and we will do our best to make Hanbok a cultural heritage that reflects the trends of the times. Through our mission, we hope to rediscover the traditional Hanbok and bring it back to life in a new and modern way.
